Admission Requirements for the Degree Program in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology (CTF)
Admission to the Degree Program in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology requires possession of a secondary school diploma or another qualification obtained abroad that is recognized as suitable by the competent authorities of the University.
Starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, the Degree Program in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology is open-access.
Students wishing to enroll must possess basic scientific knowledge (mathematics, physics, biology, and chemistry), logical reasoning skills, and text comprehension abilities, as normally provided by upper secondary school education programs.
Verification of initial preparation (pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, of Ministerial Decree 270/2004) and the possible assignment of Additional Learning Requirements (OFA) will be carried out through the test administered by CISIA – Consorzio Interuniversitario Sistemi Integrati per l’Accesso, known as TOLC-F. The assessment is mandatory but does not in any way affect admission to the program; therefore, students may enroll even before taking the TOLC-F test. The subject areas assessed and the minimum passing thresholds are published on the dedicated University webpage “TOLC Test On Line CISIA.”
If the verification is not passed, Additional Learning Requirements (OFA) will be assigned and must be fulfilled during the first year of the program. The methods for remedying any deficiencies in initial preparation are specified in the relevant section of the aforementioned University webpage.
OFA may also be fulfilled by passing either the General and Inorganic Chemistry examination or the Cell Biology and Elements of Genetics examination.
If the OFA are not fulfilled within the first year, the student will be enrolled as a repeating first-year student.
